Time to say thank you to all & to all -- good wishes!

After several months of health issues, getting back into the groove has been more challenging than expected. So, I'm closing shop and taking an extended holiday -- but still keeping a close watch on neighborhood activities.
Thank you to all of our loyal and supportive pcvstBee readers and tipsters, friends and fellow neighborhood bloggers!!!
Best wishes and good health,
Brett
P.S. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to access email, so apologies if you haven't heard from me.

Back in business, no thanks to blog gremlins!

We've had some blog problems and unfortunately have also lost some apparently unrecoverable posts and other content. Hopefully, the fix holds!

Looks like Starbucks' next door neighbor in Peter Cooper Village
at 400 East 23rd Street will be a Gracefully gourmet market. In our

area, the new store will be in addition to the Gracefully in
Stuyvesant Town at 320 1st Ave. & the East Village at 28 Avenue A.

Town & Village toy drive under way for children at Beth Israel Medical Center

Our favorite weekly, Town & Village, is holding its annual Christmas and Hanukkah toy drive to help bring holiday cheer to young patients at a local hospital -- and this year it's the Beth Israel Medical Center.

Donations of a new, unwrapped toy will be accepted through December 19 at several convenient locations. For the list of  drop-off centers and more about the toy drive, click HERE.
